What we do

Having worked in the Funeral sector for over 20 years, Financial Director Paul Disley saw that there was a growing problem in the care home sector that wasn't being addressed. Each visit to a care home saw the same problems. Understaffing, over working, noisy corridors (especially at night when residents were trying to rest) and lots of 'red tape' that made it more and more difficult for staff and care home managers to do their jobs efficiently.

The idea of a system that helped staff was born.

Over the next few weeks and months, many conversations were had with people involved in the care home sector and the system began to develop. The more we understood, the more we could see what was needed. Not only was a system that could monitor residents in their rooms required, but also the ability for staff to incorporate this information into a log that included all activities such as dietary, medical and hygiene information.

After many more months of design and technical analysis, our SENCARE system was completed. We are now in the process of testing and monitoring the system throughout different homes in order to perfect the processes and ensure that when it comes to the point of use, staff and managers can use the system with ease, making a useful, essential and meaningful tool.
